Level 5 - Bookbinding Workshop

As part of the Bookworks unit in the second year, Ros ran a bookbinding workshop. Students tried making various dummy books to experiment with folding, binding, gluing and sewing.

Carla Salt - Stop Frame Animation

I created this stop motion video after Marcella Puppini, of the music trio The Puppini Sisters, invited people to put together their own ideas for her newly released single, 'Stop Googling Me'. For the video, I decided to use stop motion as I felt that it is a technique that I have had little experience with, but enjoy the process of. I forwarded my video to the French producers, Bart and Baker, to which they uploaded to their Youtube account and have been using it to promote the single. I hope you like it :)

Well done Curtis

Curtis Hylton (2nd year degree student from Portsmouth University) completed a graffiti project for my son's bedroom.  His work is first class and I am sure my son will be the envy of his friends! I would also wish to inform you that it was an absolute pleasure meeting Curtis, he is highly skilled, professional, polite and a credit to his family and indeed to Portsmouth University. I would not hesitate recommending him to others for any future project.

I wish him well for the future.

Thank you

Regards

Mr Kevin C Williams MBE
